Viticulture and Winemaking: Riesling Brut is produced in traditional bottle fermentation and lies on the yeast at a constant temperature for 24 months before it is hand-shaken and disgorged. The long lees aging gives the wine its structure, but allows the tautness and aromatic typicity of the Riesling to take over. The base wine comes from loess soils that bring fruit and finesse to the grapes and are typical in the Rheingau. Aroma-pure and riesling-typical - the material from which a real BARTH Riesling sparkling wine can become. 8.5g/l
